Policy Purpose
The success of our school is dependent on the trust and confidence we earn from our employees, students and stakeholders. We gain credibility by adhering to our commitments, displaying honesty and integrity and reaching institutional goals solely through honorable conduct. Therefore, Atlas Academy has developed a Code of Ethics to promote and maintain the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and professionalism among faculty, staff, and students.
Policy Scope
This policy applies to all members of the Atlas Academy community, including students, faculty, staff, volunteers, contractors, trustees, and other members in the community doing business with or for Florida Tech. It governs conduct of all Atlas Academy community members while on Atlas Academy property, representing Florida Tech, utilizing its resources, or while attending Atlas Academy functions.
Policy Statement
The Atlas Academy Code of Ethics: We act with integrity; we treat others with respect and dignity; we carefully steward the school’s resources; we avoid conflicts of interest or commitment; we maintain confidentiality; and we comply with legal and professional obligations. We are individually accountable for our own actions, and we are collectively accountable for upholding these standards of behavior and complying with all applicable laws, policies, standards, and regulations. These standards establish a baseline for ethical behavior.
