We specialize in supporting students who have significant behavioral and academic challenges.

We understand that many students are dealing with significant family challenges such as divorce or the death of a parent and cannot manage their emotions or behavior without significant support.

We help our students' set goals and reach them. Most students are ready to begin transitioning to a less restrictive academic setting within two semesters.

Atlas Academy works closely with the local districts to assess progress and determine the best transitional plan for each student.

Our Approach

Atlas Academy seeks to provide a unique learning experience for students who may have difficulties learning in traditional school settings.

We offer a trauma informed approach with students that is paired with best practices in applied behavioral analysis in classrooms with low teacher to student ratios. Students are able to develop positive relationships with caring staff members—thereby increasing their abilities to grow academically, socially and emotionally in a safe and supportive educational environment.

Our approach is:

Evidence based

Trauma informed

Developmentally oriented

Family focused

In working to achieve the goals of our students, we understand success will look different for each individual child and through the use of personalized targets, we will celebrate every small step of progress made, whatever that may be.
